Compare Project versions

  I used, in 2015, to compare versions of a XOJO program by storing them as text files using the format “Xojo Project" then using BBEDIT to compare them. This does seem possible now (Xojo version 2018 Release 1) because saving a project doest not propose a list of formats. What should I do ?
  I use an iMac with macOS Sierra, 10.12.6
