Issue #15306 has been updated by vo.x (Vit Ondruch). prelude.c is not anymore [1], so I'm closing this specific ticket. However, I'll be happy if the discussion is remembered for future. [1]: https://github.com/ruby/ruby/commit/9c2807b2df14984e3c81d72a381d9a4d288b3fbe ---------------------------------------- Feature #15306: Generate prelude.c using miniruby https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/15306#change-83243 * Author: vo.x (Vit Ondruch) * Status: Open * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Target version: ---------------------------------------- I don't see any reason why prelude.c should be included in source tarball and why it should not be generated by miniruby. Please see the attached patch. Please note this is a clone of #10554, which was closed just because it was old, not because it was resolved. ---Files-------------------------------- 0001-Generate-preludes-using-miniruby.patch (883 Bytes) -- https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/ Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe> <http://lists.ruby-lang.org/cgi-bin/mailman/options/ruby-core>
