Re: [Book WIP] Illustrated Guide to Ruby

The nice thing is I have a set of true beginners I'm going to be working
with once the book matures a bit more to keep me honest. It's easy to
forget sometimes how hard it is to get into all of this for the first time,
and I really want to capture some of that and try and smooth over the
introduction.

One of the biggest things to note though is this is in no way going to be a
comprehensive book on Ruby or all the edges there. This is just to
introduce people to the idea of programming in general, then lead them on
to books which do a far better job than me explaining all the details like
Eloquent Ruby. That one's still by far my most recommended book for people
who already know programming and want to do Ruby.
