Hi, (You should send your e-mail to ruby-talk@ instead of me.) It works on my Debian GNU/Linux sid machine. And I also confirmed with fresh install Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon edition. Newly created GTK+ 3 applications should use Gtk::Application. If you still have problem, please submit an issue to https://github.com/ruby-gnome2/ruby-gnome2/issues with full error message.
