scala-language is more of a language-geekery list.  You're more likely to
get a good discussion on scala-user.

(I'd also recommend clarifying what you're looking for.  Most efficient in
what sense?  What do you want to do with this book?  What are the
priorities?  The question's too vague to answer as it is, as there are
various definitions of "efficient", with different trade-offs.)
