I didn't have time to study your idea, but it is on my todo list to think 
about how category theory might help achieve the local ("call site") 
injection of dependencies that I referred to, instead of some compiler 
assisted specialization. Conceptually I am assuming any compiler macros 
that could be invented would be more fragile than some category theory 
approach. I am also hoping that might help me unifying more my comparison 
to Haskell. I really want to get to the bottom of this (pun intended).
