Daniel,

I didn't have time to thoroughly audit the code.  It does look reasonable
and well factored, and it comes with SUnit tests, so I generally trust it.
However, it does touch an awful lot of code (7 classes and lots of
methods), and given that I would recommend bringing it in for 3.5 rather
than 3.4.
