That Roar vision caught my eye...you have my vote (assuming I get a ballot)

Subject: [squeak-dev] Squeak Oversight Board Election 2026

Hello fellow Squeakers,

I want to run for a seat on the Squeak Oversight Board for a third time. I almost had enough votes to get elected in 2025 and 2024.

What can I write to persuade you to put me at the top of your voting preference on the Board Election  https://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/6675
Sadly the elections have been a popularity contest, not a meritocracy.

I agree with Eliot that we should establish some funding structure for Squeak.

I endeavor to give Squeak a parallel VM and language implementation according to David Ungars RoarVM implementation. I extended Squeak VM to support Apple Silicon (GPU and ANE).
I preserved Squeak, Smalltalk and the work from its implementers since 1981 in a growing 23 TB digital archive.

Cheers
