Folks,
As per several folks requests, please find attached (gzipped tar files)
1. preliminary linux patch file, covering C/C++ code (port of .asm
files not finished yet)
2. my makefiles; these go into a directory <strongtalk-root>/build
3. compiler-run.txt; a capture of the compilation run.
The patchfile includes a modification to the
contribributorLicenses.htmlfile. Comments and questions are
welcomed. If something seems a bit strange, it probably is.
Note that I get a moderately clean compile -- there are a few "warnings"
that need to be resolved.
tested with GCC 4.1.1 on 2.6.18 kernel (Gentoo)
I have not verified that the patches work/do not impact the Windoze build as
of yet.
cheers,
-- dave
