It might also be fun to get some of wxWidgets running on Strongtalk
too.  I could see about getting SWIG running on Strongtalk, and I
don't imagine it to be a huge effort so I could see about helping with
that.  Figuring out how to deal with the event loop and how it
interacts with Strongtalk is probably the hardest part, and I'm not
sure if I'm the best person to tackle that.. but once that is in
place, extending it to bring in more functionality shouldn't be too
hard, and SWIG does some of the hardest stuff for you.
