As I understand it, the situation is this: Images cannot yet be built from scratch. Apparently there is still some voodoo in this space that Dave Griswold is working on. "Trunk Build VM " -- can be built from scratch only if you have a copy of Turbo Assembler from Borland, otherwise you need M$ Visual Studio, and you use the pre-provided COFF obj files There is a patch in the mailing archive that enables you to build the VM with MinGW under Windows, again using the COFF obj files provided by Thiago I am working on a "pure" linux port of the VM and having much fun with the assembler which someone else noted should be trivial to port -- I bow to his skills if to him, this is trivial. regards, the other Dave.
