Building on linux

hi everybody,

is strontalk currently runnable on linux?
which areas of the code are windows-secific? (e.g. windowing and stuff
like that)
is anybody working on a build system on non windows platforms?

i am primarily interested in the virtual machine.
so i just would like to have a command line interpreter to start with
that runs on linux.
