Good point. What would happen if we put USD230K into one of the already open sourced 'smalltalk' projects? I rather the resources go into strongtalk, squeak, and/or etc. Isn't having to pay a lot of money to have access to smalltalk source what hurt smalltalk so much in the first place? The authors of Dolphin would rather see it die than help the smalltalk community. Why reward that kind of attitude? Dolphin needs the support of the open source community, more than we need Dolphin.
