The Monticello 2 UI is based on OmniBrowser, which supports remote interfaces. So getting at least basic tools and versioning wouldn't require native widgets, just socket support and maybe a web server. I'm busy with the Gemstone port at the moment, but when that's done, I'll see what it would take to support Strongtalk as well.
