This sounds plausible to me. However, I would really appreciate a comment = from the Cincom Engineers to this topic. Since VW runs in 64 Bit since = Version 9, I imagine that they considered this in the last five years. = Especially, since WV 8.x does not run on macOS since the release of = Catalina in 2020. My guess is that there are subtle differences in the 64-bit image = format. >=20 > Andre >=20 > -- >=20 > > Am 11.10.2025 um 09:22 schrieb Steffen M=C3=A4rcker <[email protected]>: > >=20 > > Hi! > >=20 > > I just gave the new PUL (congrats!) on macOS a shot. But something = puzzles me: I can run most of my 8.3 32-Bit images. Nice! However, loading = a 64-Bit image crashes the VM. Though compatibility does not carry over to = a new major version, this surprises me. I suspected, that the macOS version= of VW is all 64 Bit now. I actually expected that only the 64-Bit images = will run. Can someone please shed some light on what is going on with = 32/64-Bit on macOS these days? > >=20 > > Kind regards, > > Steffen >=20 >=20
