seg fault using Posix.TTY !

Howdy,

Hopefully I'm just doing something silly, but if I am and it's  
causing a segfault, that's probably still not a good thing.

here's the line which causes the segfault:

V.sub(cc, V.time);

cc is established thusly:

val cc = getcc(tios)

tios is known to be properly defined as I am using it to establish  
terminal settings which all work properly.  I was trying to change  
the time setting in the cc when I got the seg-fault.

This is under MAC OS X using 110.57

Any ideas ?
