I was thinking about adding a new sml library for pty's since it consists of just a few functions and follows the existing posix/tty stuff fairly closely, i.e. seems like it would be relatively easy to add. A couple of questions : 1. is there anything already available (?) Grepping through source did not reveal anything. 2. should libraries be written for inclusion be written using nlffi, or the ffi which is currently being used in the distribution. It seems to me that the two methods are incompatible as far as the distribution goes, but I'm not sure.
