This sounds a lot like a FAQ to me, but it is not in the Web FAQ list
(such as it is). So here goes:

How portable are exported heaps with respect to successive releases?
Will a heap exported under 110.42 still work under 110.59? What about
heaps from 93.x? Is there a Big Fat Warning in the release README when
compatibility is broken?
