garbage collecting modules & nffi/threads

Hello

1. I would like to know if modules (and code) gets garbage collected if 
no reference to data in the module is available anymore to the current 
running code (e.g. running the runtime environment with the compiler 
and using it to install new module versions on the fly - of course with 
proper upgrade handling specialized by the module in some way).

2. Are there any problems with threaded foreign code? What is about 
callback functions that get invoked by foreign code from within another 
thread?
