Allocating large vectors? > 1Meg elements (reals) is large ? The gc is doing a lot of work, it's about 30% of my run time. I probably need to quit using vectors and destructively update an array instead. Mostly it's number crunching which is running for awhile, about 2 hours for each curve that I need. I have some nlffi, i.e. malloc, allocation going on also, which probably isn't helping. This is the first time I've seen this problem, however this was also the first time that I let the program run as long as it did. The system monitor doesn't indicate any memory leaks, so I'm not convinced this is memory related, but that error message sure makes me think it is. Just wish I had more information to go on to figure out what happened.
