Win32 and sml-full-cm

List, I found http://http.cs.berkeley.edu/Research/Aiken/bane.html and that led me to smlnj. The sources.cm in some of the modules for bane are requiring a sml-full-cm. How can I eliminate this issue. I'm not using Cygwin or MSYS; but cmd.exe.
