I fetched the 8.4.13 version of tclkit, and got past that error.... Now, what I get is: Connecting failed: couldn't open socket: connection refused Error, first in read in the chat window, then as a popup box on the screen. I'm guessing that whatever port is being used is blocked by our security team - they don't permit instant messenger, etc. other than the client they installed. Anyone know if there's a way to connect to the tkchat room using Microsoft Office Communicator? -- <URL: http://wiki.tcl.tk/ > Even if explicitly stated to the contrary, nothing in this posting should be construed as representing my employer's opinions. <URL: mailto:[email protected] > <URL: http://www.purl.org/NET/lvirden/ > -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Larry W. I fetched the latest tkchat starkit and when I tried to start it, I get this error: invalid command name "name:S,size:I,date:I,contents:B" while executing "source /volws/lwv27/ldatae/bin/tkchat.kit/main.tcl" ("uplevel" body line 1) invoked from within "uplevel [list source [file join $self main.tcl]]" -- Tcl - The glue of a new generation. <URL: http://wiki.tcl.tk/ > Larry W.
