Why don't you add this patch to the trunk? It would be a partial but already interesting fix. As it would be also interesting to do this for Destroy messages, I have created a patch with similar management of the destroy message. I am wondering if another behavior would not be preferable, from user interface point of view: what about pushing the create/destroy message when the user tries to move a message above or below them? Notably for the destroy message, it would be more convenient (instead of being forced to move the destroy message be being able to move down the message). Same thing for the couple Call message / Return message: currently it is possible to have the return message above the call message, which is quite strange. Moving one should move the other in the same way if they become too close.
