Thanks Nikolaos, for the immediate explanation.
I am quite new to the internal structures of the sequence diagram, so I did not
understand the problem - your explanation made it clear.
The problem is also visible by naming all messages in the properties panel, and
inspecting the "activator" fields.
A shorter way to reproduce this:
1. Create a Sequence diagram with 2 classifier-roles.
2. Create 2 call-actions and name them (in the properties panel name field) m1,
m1r, m2, m2r.
3. Create a 3rd call-action in between the two, and name it m3 and m3r.
Now inspect the properties of the current model: The activator field should
indicate the message sequence from top to bottom, but instead it indicated the
chronological sequence of creation.
This defect is not a P2 priority. The project file does not crash ArgoUML, nor
is its contents unloadable.
I do recognize the severity of this problem, but it should not stop the project
leader from releasing an ArgoUML update with fixes for other issues.
