So, I will ignore this now. I have been using a version of ArgoUML with this change for several weeks now on a SharePoint medium with version management. It works fine - although sometimes I do get a message from ArgoUML that is can not find the file when I try to save. I do not have the impression that the SharePoint system is very reliable, since all kinds of weird problems happen with the other (MS) applications, too.
