>So, you mean there is a menu item missing, only on a Mac?

An application’s preferences dialog ought to be accessible from the application’s Preferences menu item,
and ArgoUML’s *is*, so whoever did the Mac port did the Right Thing. See preferences-menu.png,
attached.

>Is that the only menu item that is missing?

The only obvious one, I wouldn’t know about others, sorry.

>Can you operate the Settings dialog from its toolbar icon?

I only have a Project Properties icon, see attached project-properties-icon.png. The dialog is as in the
attached project-properties-dialog.png.

>What do you mean with "the application’s Preferences pane”?

Sorry, Mac-speak (and I’m not even sure it’s _modern_ Mac-speak). I meant ‘dialog’.

>> "the tabs laid out vertically? (I mean, with the text running up the screen)"
>That should never occur in ArgoUML.

>Can you attach a screen shot?

>Did you change the Java look and feel?
>You can set this in the settings->appearance->look and feel (if you have a
>settings menu) where it should best be "default" and also in the java
>preferences on your system somewhere (I forgot how).

I’ve left Argo’s look-and-feel at default; the Mac Java preferences don’t have a related settingthat I can see,
and I haven’t changed any such to my knowledge.
