We've had 2 reports of the same defect so it is strange this cannot be reproduced.

Kiren - are you testing using our last public build
(http://argouml-downloads.tigris.org/argouml-0.34/) or testing from your dev
environment?

I assume the users reporting the problem would have used the tar.gz file.

If this works for you on our standard build then maybe the problem is specific
to Ubuntu. What flavour of Linux are you using?

It might be worth adding some extra info to the log if it fails to build the
property tab and report at that time if the property panel plugin is not found
and/or it fails to read its configuration file.
