When I installed ArgoUML from a limited user account I was unable to see
shortcuts to launch the application and browsing into the install location
it wasn't immediately obvious which file to click to launch it.
The ArgoUML-0.34-setup.exe runs with administrative privileges and puts the
software into C:\Program Files (x86)\ArgoUML so it is accessable by all
users, but it places the start menu shortcuts into the runas/administrator
user's account instead of to the "all users" locations.
Please consider changing the shortcut installation location to the "all
users" locations. On Win8/10 I believe that is
"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ArgoUML" and
"C:\Users\Public\Desktop".
Also please consider putting a launcher shortcut in the install directory.
That would give a more obvious thing to click and could be a work-around for
a person to copy to their desktop or start menu if they don't have access to
or don't know how to find the installed shortcuts under the administrator
user's account.
Alternatively I wouldn't have minded if the installer didn't require
administrator and installed into something like %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs. In
that case I suspect the shortcuts would have properly created for my limited
user account.
