RE: customising PHP output

Not really a silly question because the product is split into a twisty maze
of little projects, but it's probably more appropriate for the dev list.
The developer's guide (which is called the "cookbook") may be some help in
getting oriented in general, but I don't think it says anything relevant to
this question.
