Hi Philippe,

I'm using 1.6.0.18, but I think this will make no difference. A google search on "incompatible with Text-specific LCD contrast key" revealed that in many cases changing the ClearType option in the Display settings helps. Here are some links how people solved the problem:

After all it's definitely a problem with your specific graphics system. It has nothing to do with ArgoUML, because any Java app that uses the graphics 2D API would run into the same problem on your machine.
