Hi,

Thanks to Laurent Jouanneau (of xulfr.org fame) you
can learn all about the Mozilla XUL box layout system
online using a hands-on example.

For now the live example sports a hbox (=blue box)
holding a series of buttons stacked inside a vbox
(=redbox).

The fun begins when you tweak the box attributes
such as orient, pack, align, flex and so on in the
left sidepanel and see how all the widgets regroup
themselves if you feel like it.

For some insight into the XUL box layout system turn
on auto-stretching, for example, by setting the flex
attribute to 1.

Note, that you need a Mozilla browser such as
Firebird for maximum impact.
