Article: "Remote" Mozilla XUL and XMP-RPC (aka Web Services "Lite") How-To

  Harry Fuecks (of the Net's Biggest Secret and XUL
php-gtk prototype fame) wrote up all the steps to
create a XUL app that you can launch from a web server
(like a "classic" HTML page) and that talks back using
XML-RPC (aka Web Services "lite") in the article
titled "XUL and XML-RPC" published on ::phpPatterns().

  Harry writes:

   XML-RPC support in Mozilla is provided as a
JavaScript component, the project (and limited
documentation) being found at
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xmlrpc/.

   There are locally installed apps out there, like
Mozblog which using Mozilla's XML-RPC but, to date,
I've failed to find examples of anyone using it in a
"web launched" XUL app, where the security
shennanigans come into play.

includes all sources packed up in zip archive ( ~3 k)
