Hi, Mathew McBride has wrapped up Jazilla Milestone 3 Beta and writes: Milestone 3 won't turn out to be the 'massive rewrite' I intended it to be, but a lot of code has been rewritted, rejigged or re-'what-ever-you-can-put-here''ed. This release only really changes CSS support, and doesn't really mirror the massive difference between Milestone 2 Alpha and Milestone 2 Beta we saw a few months back. I want Milestone 3 to be more of an embedders stable release. The real 'massive rewrite' will happen during Milestone 4 and beyond. Jazilla will probably be into 0.x and 1.x releases next year. Changes from M3 Alpha: * More support for CSS font- rules * Beginnings of CSS Positioning support On a different note Mathew calls for volunteers and writes: My time is getting a lot more restrictive, so I want to balance out my Jazilla work. Anyone who is any of: * Swing geek, and has made some 133+ layout system of their own (geek speak intended) * Knows the concept of COM really well. I wish XPCOM were implemented in Jazilla * Has a clue about how to implement XUL observers. I don't :( * Can make Jazilla more like Mozilla in terms of code Full story @ http://jazilla.sourceforge.net - Gerald ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
