XWT 2.0 Will Get Rebranded To Ibex (=African Mountain Goat)

Hello,

  Adam Magacz (XWT Project Lead and Founder) outlines
in an xwt-core mailinglist post the upcoming XWT (XML
Windowing Toolkit) rebranding campaign to Ibex.
      
  In case you wondered what's wrong with XWT and
what's up with Ibex. Adam writes:

   - xwt is a hard-to-remember acronym

   - it used to stand for "XML Windowing Toolkit" back
when XML was a "cool buzzword" (no longer the case).

   - there's a lot of stuff in here that's useful
outside of the ui toolkit; what we've built is now
moving in the direction of something like the Apache
project (org.xwt.plat.* reminds me a lot of the APR).

   - I have ibex.org

   - searching for 'ibex' on google returns very few
results; we'd be on top of the hit list in notime.

   - ibexes are cool

   - they're a mountain goat in africa with very
distinctive horns

    -> easy, cool logo by silhouetting the goat or
it's head

   - using a goat variant plays off the GNU thing

   - Nitrogen is a huge, gigantic step forward, and
almost a complete rewrite (done incrementally). It's
more than just "XWT 2.0".

   - It just sounds cool.
