Hello, Jose writes: We are pleased to announce the very first release of the XAMJ prototype browser, Warrior 0.90. (Consider this a pre-beta release.) It may be downloaded from: http://html.xamjwg.org XAMJ is an XML language designed from the ground up to be a Java-based alternative to Microsoft's XAML and a way to address many of the shortcomings of HTML. XAMJ can also be clearly used to build standalone applications, as the Warrior browser is written in XAMJ. A XAMJ document is converted to a special kind of Java class, called a clientlet. In future Warrior versions we expect to allow clientlet plugins to process any kind of content, not just XAMJ. The XAMJ project is at a very early stage. All feedback is appreciated.
