Luke: Thinlet XUL Showcase - Lucene Index Browser

Hi,

  Andrzej Bialecki has created an index browser for
Lucence - an open source high-speed Java full text
search engine - using the Thinlet XUL motor.

   Andrzej writes:

  Luke is a handy development and diagnostic tool
which accesses already existing Lucene indexes and
allows you to display their contents in several ways:

 * browse by document number or by term
 * view documents / copy to clipboard
 * retrieve a ranked list of most frequent terms
 * execute a search and browse the results
 * selectively delete documents from the index
 * and more

  Andrzej has published the source for Luke under the
free-for-all Apache license including all XUL chrome
files and you can even kick start Luke using the
single-click Web Start magic (weighing in at 360 k).
