Article: Mozilla and XUL for Cross-Platform UIs

Hi,

  I just stumbled over Andrew Perez-Lopez's (Virginia
Tech) tech paper titled "Mozilla and XUL for
Cross-Platform User Interfaces".

  Andrew kicks off his paper with a mission statement:

  I'll try to provide a light-hearted, quick-and-easy
way to get you started playing around with Mozilla and
XUL, and at the end I'll give a list of more complete
references if you're interested in really getting your
hands dirty with this stuff.

   followed by an executive summary:

   For the rest of the document, I'll first give a
little background on Mozilla, then I'll help get you
set up with the software you'll need to follow along
with the examples, then we'll discuss a few short XUL
examples, and we'll wrap it all up with some brief
remarks at the end. For those who are more visually
inclined, I'll repeat that in a little table of
contents.
