Hello, Mathew McBride who leads the Jazilla project has put together a XUL Challenge Showcase page for Jazilla. Note, that the "Jazilla :: XUL Grand Coding Challenge 2004" page is a work in progress and things might still change. Mathew writes: *** What is Jazilla? The Jazilla project aims to create a 100% compliant clone of the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine (including XUL and HTML parts). The XUL motor in Jazilla is forked off jXUL and can run SeaMonkey - the browser in Mozilla.org XPFE application suite with minimal markup hacking. Jazilla is a work in progress and currently, there is a lot of tags to be implemented in the XUL motor. XPCOM and XBL are not implemented yet. *** What code samples are included? * Calculator (chrome/calculator) * Counter (chrome/counter) * jzFormula (chrome/jzformula). This is a prototype for a possible entry in the third section (bonus). *** Running the code This package is a ready to go version of the Jazilla Milestone 4 Development branch and does not require any extra libraries for recent 1.4 Java runtimes. We cannot support users of older 1.3 Java runtimes...
