So you have to use a CTP for a specific platform that has bugs and 
probably doesn't support JavaScript.

So what?  It's going to take years (10+, IMO), if ever, for people to 
adopt XAML as a webpage rendering format, and never, if it's not 
supported on multiple platforms and browsers.  At best, it'll be 
relegated to specific regions embedded in regular HTML.  So Microsoft 
has re-invented the wheel again and made it sound earth shattering.  
Meanwhile, the rest of us keep doing real world things using real world 
technology that is available today rather than some pie in the sky "this 
is better" promise.
