Hello all. I'm a PHP/MySQL/JS application developer probably/possibly jumping ship. (I have a free Open Source Computer-Aided-Dispatch application at www.ticketscad.org) The application I'm planning is a GMail-based extension that will track dispatching and responding to emergencies via smartphone/tablet devices. In essence, a very lightweight variant on the one at the noted project page.) This requires some parsing of subject and message strings for tag assignment, with suitable display of tagged message traffic. And with that, I've told you everything I've thought through so far! It can't possibly be an original thought, and I'll be happy to hear of anyone having already done something like the above. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond. Discussions will include endpoint security, mobile security and the latest in malware threats. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfrnl04242012/114/50122263/ _______________________________________________ XUL News Wire - http://xulnews.com XUL Job Postings - http://xuljobs.com Open XUL Alliance - http://xulalliance.org
