hello,

I'm still using 0.9.x since I'm bound to php4, so far.
PLA had a number of troubles with special chars in dn
in various places, which are partly addressed by attached 
patch - ie WFM, afaikt.

fixes/enhncements
* better handling for special chars in dn rename/update as
  well as selection form popup (eg ->'seeAlso', when a dn had
  "'" the js function screwed)
* remove (dn) '(rename)' link when in read-only mode
* provide active URL in Ro mode as well (mailto:, http:,
  seeAlso)
* group 'authenticate' and 'anon.bind' chkbox in login form 
  (quicker anon login)
* [just my need] smaller default fonts: it was just too *huge* on 
  800x600 screen :P

proper handling of '=' in dn is probably not so trivial via regex,
hopely it's not used that much (I don't and won't) so have just 
omitted it ;P

patch is against 0.9.8.4 tarball.
system is GNU/Linux, Slackware 10.2, Apache/1.3.41 + PHP 4.4.8

I've applied your patch, and tag CVS with RELEASE-0_9_8_5.

I havent tested your patch, but I'll put it on SF as 0.9.8.5 - let me know
if something doesnt work (please give me another patch to fix whatever
doesnt work :)
