Initial Comment:
I have checked /etc/php.ini and file uploads are definitely enabled (and set to 2M, as recommended).  I also checked the permissions on /tmp and they are 1777.

When I try to import an LDIF file, phpLDAPadmin hangs for around 10 minutes before reporting "No LDIF file specified".  I can copy and paste the text from the same file and upload it that way no problem (but obviously, this is going to get inconvenient for large imports, so I'd prefer the file upload method).

Also, using Safari 3.2.1 on OS X 10.5.6 to view phpLDAPadmin.
