Summary: Not possible to configure a server with empty (blank) basedn

Initial Comment:
I have an openldap server with suffix (base dn) set to "" for compatibility with other systems.

When phpldapadmin is set to use an empty/blank basedn it tries to auto-detect the basedn and fails.

$servers->setValue('server','base',array(''));

Any suggestions for a workaround or fix?

I'm running:

phpLDAPadmin 1.2.0.5
OpenLDAP: slapd 2.3.43
PHP 5.1.6 (cli) Zend Engine v2.1.0
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)
Linux 2.6.18-128.el5 x86_64
