Initial Comment:
When exporting to a file in "Macintosh" format, and then opening that file in vi, the resulting file appears to have MS-DOS-style line-breaks in it (i.e. multiple ^M characters).

What's odd is that both the UNIX and Windows exports produce a file with proper Unix line breaks.

Perhaps you could consider removing the "Macintosh" option and making the UNIX one the default for people accessing PLA from a Mac?
