Summary: first login to the system, shows me wrong node dn

Initial Comment:
I just installed the open ldap (built it). I created the root node with cn=coolname,dc=my,dc=org, just installed phpldapadmin using apt-get.
But in the tree view, I still see dc=example,dc=com as the top node in the DB.
I am able to login into the system (using the coolname credentials).
