Summary: Fatal error: Call to undefined function bindtextdomain() in

Initial Comment:
	Fatal error: Call to undefined function bindtextdomain() in /Library/WebServer/Documents/LDAP/phpldapadmin/lib/common.php on line 267

I've tried installing php-5.3.3 and gettext as well as the latest phpldapadmin patch. I can get to http://myserver/ldap but when I click on phpldapadmin, I get that error.

Any insights or assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Those commands are not command line commands. As per my previous comment,
create a file (eg: debug.php), put those commands in the file, and then
navigate to that file with your browser. (eg:
http://xxxx/PathToPLA/debug.php)

Message:
I'm sorry Mr. Wurley, but I'm not sure I understand. When I did the php
install, I followed the instructions on creating a php test file in the web
server documents. When I point a browser to http://127.0.0.1/phptest.php I
get a page that has a banner across the top that says PHP Version 5.2.12
PHP and then specifics that include System, Build date, Configure command,
sever api, etc. Because there was no error, I thought the php build was
successful.

How do complete your instructions regarding
"print_r(get_loaded_extensions());"? When I tried to run this on the
command line, I got an error.

They are php commands. Create a php file on your web server and then point
to it with your browser.

Is that it then? There's nothing more that can be done?

Message:
Hi - Thank you for responding to my request. Something is not quite right
here:

bash-3.2#
bash-3.2#
bash-3.2# print_r(get_loaded_extensions());
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `get_loaded_extensions'
bash-3.2#
bash-3.2# cd /Library/WebServer/Documents/LDAP/phpldapadmin/
bash-3.2#
bash-3.2# print_r(get_loaded_extensions());
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `get_loaded_extensions'
bash-3.2#

I've tried running the command from the root directory and the
phpldapadmin directory.
