Let's declare April 1st as 'the day of the cuckoo'. =) There has been talks of porting BC to many platforms, but this has been the first mention of a PERL port. I think we all agree that BC is not yet ready to for something like this. PHP is a superb prototyping language for developing and evolving ideas. I think we should only consider a port of BC once a few things have been established. 1. A truely stable version. 3.0 or something 2. An vast repository of working, stable applications. BC has not yet gained the momentum of having many authors contributing their applications. I believe this is due solely to the complexity of the framework. Once Phing is out of the equation, I think things will make much more sense to a large majority of those that try binarycloud for the first time. jason _______________________________________________ dev mailing list dev-PnctHDZWAvB/Cz2I37pSEPZ4XP/[email protected] http://lists.binarycloud.com/mailman/listinfo/dev
