Interesting! Thank you Steven for that suggestion, that might have taken me
in the right direction. I couldn't work out how to fix the problem with my
git version 2.18.0. I have updated my git from 2.18.0 to version 2.20.1. I
can't fathom why that would make a difference, but I've started a clean
checkout and it's looking much better so far. I appreciate everyone's help,
thank you!
