I realized that I don't really know what details I'm suppose to fill in,
so I'll just expand on what David said.

The little that has been done can be browsed here:

The code in the CVS is mostly directly from Boost.Python, with
additional tweaks to allow for unique inheritance graphs for every
extension module. Or at least, that was the plan..

Our plans for the future is to separate the interface used to register
classes and functions from the scripting language by introducing an
abstract language layer. With this applications/extension modules could
provide a langbinding interface, into which users can plug in any
scripting language backend they may want to. More on this can be found
on the list.
