Visitor based introspection

Thank you Dave  for invitation to this list!
I'm new to this problem and I have to read more about it. If you only 
had a list archive I could read it. It would be nice if someone dropped 
me some references.
Well, if I understand all things correctly, you need some universal 
interface to access C++ classes from outside. Something like a set of 
pure C low-level functions that can be called by Python's or lua's 
binding subsystems.
My library is not designed for this but it can reside between user 
frontend and the binding system. The main purpose of my library is to be 
open for different clients like binding system, serialization library, 
GUI object browser etc.
